23 Natal Years

"We are always the same age, inside."

After a few months spent here in New Zealand, finally my birthday came!

It was a day mixed with different emotions: happy, sad, worried, excited and most of all... hungry.

I celebrated this day with my adopted family here in NZ.  They cooked the traditional pancit for my birthday and wished me good health and longer life.

~with some beer and vodka on the table...

I am now officially three and twenty!

Birth day celebration:  October 29, 2012

Mountain Climb 2012

"Stop talking about your mountains and start climbing."

MOUNT MAUNGANUI

Mount Maunganui New Zealand is situated in the city of Tauranga in the Bay of Plenty region of New Zealand. Mt Maunganui is New Zealand's favourite summer holiday destination with its white sandy suurf beach on the ocean side, and a safe sheltered inner harbour beach. Mount Maunganui is also the name of the extinct volcano which rises above the beautiful Mount Maunganui surf beach. Mount Maunganui's world recognised surf beach is a popular area for surfing, swimming, and all beach activities.
